Hospitalization:
The Pet Care
hospitalization facility
is available for pets in
need of medical care
which cannot be
administered at home.
Examples include
patients who need to be
hydrated (put on IV),
whose condition requires
temperature control
(raising temperature
through the use of
Infrared light), or who
need intensive care
(constant monitoring and
injections every few
hours). If your pet
needs hospitalization,
you can be certain
conditions are optimal
at Pet Care.
Quarantine:
In the case of highly
contagious diseases
transmittable through
air - whether it’s the
simple flu, parvovirus,
or more severe illnesses
- quarantine is
necessary to avoid
complications and to
ensure the safety of all
other animals at the
clinic. Pet Care’s
sterilized quarantine
area, designated for
contagious diseases, is
further divided into
separate areas by type
of disease to preserve
controlled conditions.
Properly maintaining a
quarantine area requires
not only the experience
and the skills but also
the staff and space to
employ them; all these
resources are available
at Pet Care.
Surgery:
When necessary, Pet Care
clinic can conduct all
types of surgery
(diagnostic, curative,
preventive, palliative,
and emergency surgery)
involving skeletal,
muscular, dental, etc.
procedures. In certain
cases, Dr. Hemadeh might
collaborate with
specialist surgeons to
conduct specialized
surgeries such as
ophthalmic or spinal
surgeries.
X-Ray:
No need to send your
pets to an outside x-ray
center: Pet Care clinic
conducts x-rays on-site
with instant results
that your vet will
discuss with you to
recommend treatment
options accordingly.
Lab Analysis:
Whatever laboratory
analysis your pet’s
medical condition
requires, Pet Care can
arrange it for you from
A-Z. In some cases, such
as chronic diseases, lab
analysis of blood
samples might be
necessary. Chronic skin
diseases might require
skin cultures while digestive or other
illnesses might require
stool or urinary
analyses.
Grooming:
Pets with long, thick
coats, particularly
during the hot summer
season, benefit from
thorough and
professional grooming,
on offer at Pet Care
under the supervision of
specialists and using
the best pet shampoos
and conditioners
available.
Boarding:
Pets boarded at Pet Care
receive premium care:
from the best quality
food tailored to their
nutritional needs, to a
daily walk (for dogs),
and toys in the cage
(for cats). Should
boarded animals fall ill
in their owners’
absence, they will
receive all the medical
care they need. However,
Pet Care recommends
boarding for pets only
when necessary (and only
for a few weeks, at
maximum). This is
because no matter how
ideal boarding
conditions are, pets
prefer to be at home
with their loving
families, and extended
periods of cage
confinement for healthy
animals are not
recommended.
Vaccination:
The ideal vaccination
age for kittens and
puppies is 2 months, and
should be repeated
within a period of 3
weeks. Vaccination
prevents the occurrence
of various fatal viral
diseases. Such diseases
render pets’ mortality
rate at 95%. |
